The Role
The diverse and visionary client base for which the firm provides innovative advice keeps the practice at the forefront of critical developments in the field. The Washington, D.C. office maintains strong relationships with national policymakers both in Congress and at agencies, including the Department of Labor, Department of the Treasury, the Pension Guaranty Corporation, and the Internal Revenue Service. The attorneys keep a close watch on legal and regulatory developments to provide insights in the context of benefits planning, due diligence in transactions, and managing investigations and inquiries.
Requirements
The firm is seeking an employee benefits associate with 1-2 years of experience in executive compensation, equity compensation and welfare benefit plans to work with the firm’s Executive Compensation and Employee Benefits Team. An LL.M. in Employee Benefits is desirable and would be taken into consideration in lieu of work experience.
