The Role

The firm's Commercial Litigation Practice is skilled in business dispute litigation and has wide-ranging experience in corporate governance and compliance and with the full valuation, accounting, and ethical issues which typically arise in business disputes. They have litigated issues of first impression. The team comprises experienced trial lawyers who understand broad business implications and can draw on the firm's multidisciplinary teams in industries such as financial services, accounting, insurance, real estate, and entertainment to devise creative and efficient strategies. The client base is diverse and we regularly represent national and multinational corporations and national and locally based law firms, accounting firms, investment banks, advertising agencies, architectural firms, and artists in disputes, mergers and acquisitions and liquidations, and before regulatory and self-regulatory organizations.

Requirements

4th-6th year Associate in the Litigation practice. Qualifications for this position are: Extensive experience analyzing, researching and drafting briefs addressing sophisticated legal issues on complex litigation, ranging from state and federal court motions to dismiss, summary judgment and class certification motions, writs and appeals; Successfully argued motions; Taken and defended depositions; Trial experience; Experience overseeing junior associates; and Case management experience.
