The Role
The successful candidate will be a key member of the practice, which is a unique combination of issuer and underwriter clients in cross-border deal work, covering the spectrum from CAC 40/Fortune 500 to Emerging Growth Companies. The firm advises on equity, transactions including IPOs and secondary offerings, innovative debt deals, and high-profile public M&A. The team is fully integrated to offer clients the best of French and U.S. securities law counseling.
Requirements
Qualified candidates should possess excellent oral and written French and English language skills. LLM, JD and/or Paris EFB appreciated. Admission to either the Paris Bar or a U.S. Bar (with a view to passing the Paris Bar as admission to the Paris Bar is required to work for the Paris office) required.
The Firm
42 offices in 17 countries, spread over five continents. The firm’s booming practices include antitrust, appellate litigation, financial markets, international law, IP, labor and employment, M&A, private equity, securities, and securities litigation—to name a handful. Associates are paid well—perhaps above market—but the firm does not offer bonuses, which removes some of the pressure of working extreme hours. The firm's commitment to pro bono work is exceptional, with two satellite offices solely dedicated to the Firm's Border Project. 1st year $225k
