The Firm
VaultLaw 75. This firm counts among its clients some of the biggest names in information technology, energy, entertainment, telecommunications, real estate, financial services, and health care. With over three dozen offices worldwide, an exceptionally broad practice scope, and household names for clients, it ranks as one of the nation’s largest firms. While the volume of work is high, associates are offered vast flexibility in terms of when and where they work which allows them greater management over their hours and workload. Most Associates are generally pleased with their salary and believe it to be a fair reflection of the hours they billed throughout the year. Associates say the path to partnership is achievable for those wanting to pursue it and exit opportunities are numerous, either to other firms or in government positions. Pro bono is encouraged at the firm and all associates are required to complete 25 hours of pro bono work, with up to 100 hours of pro bono work counting towards billable-hours.
