The Role

The firm represents government contractors worldwide in complex, high-stakes litigation by and against the United States government, among competing prime contractors, and between contractors and subcontractors. For more than four decades, they have litigated and navigated virtually every type of government contract dispute, representing defense, healthcare, technology, and telecommunications companies doing business with the government. The firm brings deep insight and deliver practical advice, counsel, and representation to government contractors and bidders across the full spectrum of matters.

Requirements

As a Global Commercial Transactions Counsel, you will be responsible for the primary legal review of the firm’s contracts with outside vendors, providing leadership to the firm’s Contract Review team in order to ensure that each contract executed on behalf of the firm is reviewed for significant legal, risk management, and business issues. A J.D. degree from an ABA-accredited law school. An active bar membership in New York, Washington D.C., or California, or an ability to apply for membership in 90 days and become an active member within 1 year of hire. A minimum of 5 years relevant legal/law firm experience, including in contract drafting and negotiation. Previous in-house experience.
